However, the upside is that you will have stronger characters for combat and for circus shows as well (the latter meaning more resources). The practice tent can be a double edged sword if you don't think ahead, because as solthusx said, its cost in tools means that you will have less resources to upgrade buildings. There are good party compositions that don't use these classes however. If you want to base your party on these classes, then you need to upgrade the train, as simple as that. I used snake charmers extensively in at least one of my playthroughs and one of the classes that unlocks much later as well. However, there is more nuance to the choice between the two and upgrading both can be a good idea as well.įor example, the train significantly reduces your daily upkeep at a certain level (as bambaladam mentioned) and the classes it unlocks are definitely useful. Generally, upgrading the train can be better if you are losing a lot of characters, while the practice tent is probably better if you can keep them alive.
